Governor Hoff visits McCullough Mansion in Bennington
Gov Philip H Hoff and his wife toured the century-old McCullough Mansion in Bennington. The residence, built around 1864, once housed Vermont governors and sits on land once owned by Trenor Park who bought it from Hiland Hall, a two term Vermont governor.

Mr. and Mrs Forrest Moses honored on 50th wedding day
Eagle Bridge longtime residents Mr and Mrs Forrest Moses celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Sunday home reception. More than 180 relatives and friends attended as family organized the event. The couple, both Hoosick Falls High School graduates of 1913, were married April 26 1916 in Eagle Bridge. They have lived in Eagle Bridge their entire married life and run Moses Vegetable Gardens with son Carl. Attending were their three children and families, 13 of 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and guests from across New York state and nearby towns.
