Mildred W. Danforth, 64, lifelong East Rupert resident, died Friday after a long illness at Putnam Memorial Hospital. Born March 7, 1889, she was daughter of Oliver H. and Jennie Walsh Danforth. She attended East Rupert schools and Burr and Burton Seminary, worked many years in the maple sugar candy business. Survived by two grandchildren Basil Walsh of Brandon and Mrs. Wilma Lamont of San Diego. Funeral Monday at 2 p.m. Brewster Funeral Home Manchester. Cremation Gardner Earl Crematorium Troy.
