Manchester school directors voted to hire professional evaluators to assess the elementary school facility curriculum and teaching staff for September in a two day survey similar to the four year old plan. Hoosick Falls Fire Crews Respond Twice On Tuesday
Hoosick Falls residents saw two fire calls on Tuesday. A log truck on River Street caught fire but was smothered by the driver before firefighters arrived. Later, crews extinguished a brush fire behind Supervisor John A Murphy’s home on McCaffrey Street. A Legion auxiliary dinner honored Gold Star mothers and celebrated leadership at the Town House in Cambridge with out-of-town guests and a business meeting led by president Eleanor Rancourt.
