Major League pinch hitter drives first Cleveland run in tense inning
Major League standings noted as a pinch hitter enters the game. His double brings in Cleveland's first run after John Lowenstein singles. Ken Tatum works the ninth as Vad Pinson starts with a left field single. Pinson is caught in a rundown, Fosse advances, Camilli slides to second and scores on Hodge’s single. Hodge, with eight minor league seasons, is dazzled by the moment. This is the biggest thrill that I ever had.
