Chapin Convicted Of Lying To Watergate Grand Jury
Dwight L. Chapin former Nixon appointments secretary was found guilty on two counts of lying to the Watergate grand jury about dirty tricks in 1972. He was acquitted on a third count about telling Donald Segretti to discuss the case with the FBI. Sentencing is set for May 6. Segretti had recently been released from federal prison.
