Ecumenical Good Friday rites hear Yale dean at Bennington

The three hour Good Friday service at St Peters Bennington featured Rev Dr Colin W Williams dean of Yale Divinity School as guest preacher. He spoke on the meaning of Good Friday, forgiveness, and love overcoming fear, urging attendees to live without guilt and to help the poor and uneducated. Local clergy and organizers included Rev Edward B Geyer Jr, Rev Edward T Patrick, and John Riddle Jr, who led the St Peters service and the Lenten series.
