Fifteenth annual meeting of Shireford limited held at Commercial Hotel
The fifteenth annual meeting of the Shareholders of the firm was held at the Commercial Hotel Thonna on Thursday. Mr. Weds Tonkinty chaired, with about 20 shareholders present. The balance sheet showed a profit for the year ending April 0th and an improved turnover and profits. Assets included land and buildings, plant and machinery, and investments. a substantial balance remained for future operations. Directors praised the cooperative effort amid tough market conditions and noted better sales and price trends, while warning of competition and challenging times ahead. The directors and auditors were reappointed, and thanks were extended to officers and staff for their work.
