The foundation stone for the nurses' home and maternity wing at Benalla District Memorial Hospital will be laid on Friday afternoon, August 6. Commissioner Talochino resigned from the Benalla Waterworks Trust and Sewerage Authority at Monday’s meeting. He said the action was taken with regret. Members expressed regret and thanked him for his work over the past years.
