The death occurred at Bush Nursing Hospital on Friday of Mrs. Ellen Grace Bevan wife of Thomas J. Bevan aged 60. A native of Lurg she was a daughter of the late Biman and Louise Heyer and married in Benalla forty years ago. She was admired for her many good qualities and sympathy goes to her husband and family.

Thieves Enter Noonan's Garage Stolen Tyres Recovered

Tyres recovered in Melbourne on Sunday afternoon by police after a local resident alerted officers. A quick arrest followed when police traced a truck and van involved near the garage.
