Burial took place at Benalla on Tuesday from Mr EA Abbott's funeral parlors Bridge Street. The service was conducted by Pastor CF Hollingsworth.

The Mayor announced that Sir Dallas Brooks his wife Lady Brooks and Miss Jeanette Brooks will visit Benalla on Tuesday March 3. Officials expect a large turnout from schoolchildren and youth groups as they meet the Vice Regal party and view civic displays.
The Glenrowan property of 34 acres at Glenrowan, owned by G. H. Earp, was offered at the Memorial Hall in Benalla on Friday. Bidding by district and New South Wales buyers was strong, and Mr. John C. Lobban of Yerong Creek, NSW purchased it for £34.
