Argentina's Peronist government vowed to fight Marxist guerrillas after the ambush death of Jose Rucci, secretary general of the General Labor Confederation and key Peron ally, shot outside his location on Tuesday.
Deputies investigated a Wilton two vehicle collision at 12 55 pm Tuesday. Alan Lamon Route 2 drove a car struck by Victor Rowland Wilton driven truck. Damages were 400 to the car and 50 to the truck. Rowland cited for driving without a license. A bicycle theft was reported by Delroy Wiebolt 3103 Cedar Lane a yellow and gold Hiawatha bike with high handlebars and banana seat valued at 60. The bike owner noted the bike was at a brother in law’s suburban home. The report also covers political violence and labor unrest including Peronist leftists and ERP mentions with mentions of Lastiri Rucci and ensuing strikes and killings.

Admitted on Tuesday are Mrs Muriel Premo and Bertha Fleischman of Bemidji plus Mrs Ralph Shoemate of Clearbrook and others including William Ritchie Redlake Rev Fred Moore Clearbrook William Dionne Wilton Fred Whitecloud Walker Alonzo Shearer Park Rapids. Discharged on Tuesday are Mrs Bud Allen Mrs Eugene Bentz and twin girls Bemidji Walter Frost Cass Lake Roland Spears Redlake.
Minneapolis clothing store owner James B. Freeman faces a ten day trial on charges of receiving and concealing stolen property. The venue was moved to Bemidji after pre trial publicity concerns. Freeman testified, admitting knowledge the two men entering his store were shoplifters.
