Beirut clashes narrow to three suburbs as truce holds in Tripoli
In Beirut fighting between Christians and Moslems was confined to Ein Rummaneh and Chiyah with a cease-fire holding in Tripoli. A government spokesman said all Beirut roads were open except the highway between Ein Rummaneh and Chiyah. The two sides fired rockets and mortars overnight, 11 buildings burned, and police counted 10 dead and 27 wounded in the suburbs.
