The House passed a 60 day bill to continue domestic oil price controls through October 31 to allow time for an energy compromise with President Ford. Ford signaled willingness to consider gradual decontrol, while analysts warn of higher prices and unemployment if action stalls.
Bemidji Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously backed exploring county funding to ease the financial burden of year round programs.
