A farmer and former railroad worker Johnson began the quest at 14 after hearing of a local effort. He built a wheel driven device in a shed behind his home using bicycle wheels and springs hoping to trigger endless motion.

The Jim Lowmaster family won Best In Show with their New Zealand white junior doe at the Minnesota State Fair.
