Toil strengthens seniors through crafts at Northland session
Nada Endorf, craft chairman for Bemidji Senior Aseca, says the Northland Apartments ceramics room operates daily with Tuesdays as the main craft day. About 50 members are in crafts, 34 in ceramics, and profits fund project expenses and a few summer trips, with sales at the lakefront, in the Northland lounge shop, and at a Christmas bazaar and spring festival. She notes personal gratification comes from seeing the programs’ value to many senior citizens.
