Bemidji man Walter Lonergan dies in home fire
Bemidji 89 year old Walter Lonergan died of smoke inhalation and extensive burns from a fire at 1414 Bixby Ave. He was alone in the living room when the smoking accident sparked the blaze. Beltrami County coroner and fire officials cited the cause as accidental. He is survived by daughter Evelyn Schuiling Bemidji son Walter Lonergan Avondale Ariz and one grandson. Funeral services handled by Olson Schwartz Funeral Home.
