David and Jo Hamilton, pottery teachers near Waterloo Cedar Falls Iowa, left their careers to become full time potters. They bought a Bemidji area farm to pursue self employment, raise Angelo Arab horses, and sell in galleries and fairs from Bemidji to Springfield Illinois. Their stoneware features functional humorous pieces including chicken roasters, face mugs, and sun motif designs.
