Solar energy could be cheapest heating by 1980 study says

Park Rapids School Board ends dance ban with new policy

In a hastily called session Park Rapids School Board and the high school student council agreed on guidelines for school dances lifting a prior ban. The plan limits attendance to Park Rapids students in grades 9 through 12 and allows for controlled entry and exit with a scheduled March 18 dance.

Sullivan Spends $122,370 in Losing Minnesota Campaign

Democratic- Farmer-Labor candidate Michael Sullivan ran a losing bid for Minnesota's 7th District, spending $122,370 while opponent Arlan Stangeland led.
