Saturation Inspection Finds Safe Minnesota Meat Outlets
Inspectors surveyed over 300 meat markets across Minnesota during two June weekends and found compliance with consumer protection laws was as good or better than other days. Only four markets had unfit meat and 147 items were removed for defects. several labeling and weight issues were addressed.
