Bemidji diver uncovers 65 pound lake floor haul and copper mystery
Tom Aalberts of Bemidji spends summers skin diving in Lake Bemidji. He retrieves heavy log chains, a 65 pound boom chain, a copper device with transformers, and a worn whiskey bottle from the former Crookston Lumber Mill site. He hopes patent clues will identify the copper item and plans to sell curiosities to fund air tanks.
