Dipygus baby Joe nearly normal at ten months
In Miami a rare dipygus infant born with four arms and legs has progressed toward normalcy at ten months. Surgeons at Jackson Memorial Hospital led by Dr. Marc Rowe used X rays and dye to plan procedures after airlift from the birth hospital. The parents Joan and Mike, who come from a family with multiple twins, faced guilt and faith throughout the early weeks while Joe remains to be operated on again, possibly for the final time.
