Riding Clinic At Beltrami County Fairgrounds June 9 10
A two day riding clinic for horses and riders will be held at Beltrami County Fairgrounds on June 9 and 10 with Miss Melinda Suydam from Salem Oregon as instructor. Saturday targets 4 H and juniors under 15, Sunday opens to adults. Registration 8 a.m. daily, events include grooming and tack Q A, western and English riding, lecture on horse care, trail and pleasure training, drill team, and post ride care.

Labor Donations Boost Bemidji Workshop Funds
Organized labor in Bemidji contributed to the North Central Workshop raising 50 dollars. The 12th annual banquet added 40 dollars, plus 10 dollars from the Central Labor treasury. Motorcycle Collision Near Hwy 2 West Liquor Store
Police report details a late evening collision between a motorcycle driven by Gregory Blom of Westwood Trailer Court and a car driven by Thomas Cerar of Crosby near the Hwy 2 west liquor store entrance. Damages were about 20 dollars to the bike and 35 dollars to the car. Blom sustained minor scrapes and bruises but no hospitalization.

Beltrami County Board Acts On Varied Local Issues
Beltrami County Commission adopted a Lakeshore Management Ordinance and will fund enforcement with Marshall County and Grygla Village. Costs are 1800 from the village and 5k to 6k from each county yearly. A new courthouse salary schedule takes effect January 1, 1974 and a 1975 Soil Conservation budget of 5000 was approved.
