Deer Lake Dears 4-H members met May 19 at Samuel Curry home. They donated boxes to Pinewood residents and planned litter pickup on Highway 89 for Project Pride. A monarch butterfly project talk and decoupage demo were given. Next meeting at Bill Dolson home on June 9.
The Honorable John G Schmitz 1972 American Party presidential candidate will speak June 29 at 8 p m in Bemidji High School Auditorium. Sponsored by the Bemidji John Birch Society the event focuses on national concerns with an invitation to the public.
