Boucha undergoes mental evaluation in murder case
William G. Boucha, 20, of Warroad, faces first degree murder charges in the death of 16 year old Joni K. Stangle. The body was found July 10 in the Warroad River. Judge Warren A. Saetre ordered the evaluation at the defense attorney’s request. a grand jury probe was requested but not yet acted on. A watch with Boucha’s name was found at the scene. Stangle lived in a foster home in Warroad. Boucha is the adopted brother of hockey player Henry Boucha.
