FBI search for Pine Ridge shooting suspects ends with no trace
FBI agents and helicopters hunted the Pine Ridge reservation after a June 26 gun battle near Oglala left Coler and another agent dead. A third man, Joseph Bedell Stuntz, was killed and buried in an Oglala ceremony. The vast 3150 square mile reservation was swept with no suspects found.
