Black guerrillas attacked the Musami Roman Catholic mission 36 miles from Salisbury killing seven white missionaries. The staff of eight white workers was rounded up and shot. Three Jesuit priests and four Dominican nuns died, with a Jesuit priest wounded but not seriously.
