Minnesota nurses arrange Christmas home visit for patient Kish
In Minneapolis a 62-year-old farmer hospitalized since an accident has been isolated. Nurses at University of Minnesota Hospitals raised funds and gifts to enable Kish to travel 150 miles home to see his wife and six children. They hope indoor plumbing will be added before his six-day visit ends. Lt. Ronald Cuny arranged Marine transport to Backus and back for more treatment. Doctors hope he can go home for good by early February.
