Otter Tail Office Heats Entire Building With Lights
Bemidji Otter Tail Power office uses fluorescent lighting to heat the building. The 1965 system channels air through fixtures into a plenum then back via standard ducts, with automatic temp control and roof intakes. In summer it saves cooling costs and tests show lighting can heat the space at subzero temperatures.
