Bemidji to build new sewage plant for future standards
The city plans a $3.8 million three stage plant with 75 percent federal funding and 15 percent slant funds. Local cost could be as low as $380,000. The plant will meet PCA one PPM phosphorous and reduce BOD to 25 PPM, with expansion possible for future standards and growth into the 21st century.
