The Beltrami County Board of Commissioners approved a plan to improve law enforcement relations with students of all ages. Sheriff Tolman said the approval enables an application to the Governor's Crime Commission for funds to hire a school liaison officer, with program details to follow.
A Minnesota bill allowing 65-foot twin-trailer trucks on four-lane highways gains early House approval. The measure would extend length limits from 55 feet and moves toward final passage in the House with votes and debate anticipated today.
Gov Wendell R Anderson urged an extra 1.498 million for the Minnesota State College System for 1973 75 with 139000 to expand Bemidji State College Indian Studies. Contingency funds 600000 to offset enrollments declines and 112056 for Rehabilitation Services at Southwest Minnesota, plus 147030 for Clinical Experiences at Southwest Minnesota State.
A Bemidji Post report notes a letter delivered despite an illegible address. Minnesota bills advance on roads two lane use rules and a zoo funding plan with bonds of 27.7 million, plus a companion 23 million option. He proposed extending coverage to about 635,000 agricultural workers with safeguards for migrants and urged neutral administration during strikes by ending benefit payments to strikers and denying them to non strikers.

Assistant Attorney General Stanley Pottinger notes divisions within the village as AIM figure Dennis Banks rejects the April 5 pact. If entrenched Indians show favor, the proposal contents may be released today.
