County Superintendent Swingle visited the institute in Riley County to promote the North Central Kansas Teachers Association meeting at Manhattan next Thanksgiving and invited all to attend. Norman of Doniphan County will speak on Reading Circle books, while Hoenshel of Fort Scott Normal will join Thursday. The annual teachers social drew strong attendance and lively yells. Teachers from multiple states and counties attended, with several visitors noted and three book agents calling this week.
