St John’s Day Celebration By Bloomington Lodges

Louis Schwartz was found guilty of assault and battery on Robert Hamilton by Mayor Fields and fined five dollars plus costs totaling ten dollars which he paid Mort Pender pleaded guilty to intoxication in Mayor Fields Court and was fined one dollar plus costs which were stayed.

Accident injures aged father at son's home in Logansport
William Rayburn, aged father of Oliver Rayburn, was badly cut Wednesday afternoon at his son’s house on West 21st Street. He stumbled over a wire, fell onto a sythe blade, and suffered a deep gash to the bone. Rev William Hawkins treated him, eight stitches were needed, and he is reported improved.
