Remains Identified in Missouri Suicide Case
The body found Friday morning suspended from a tree near Savannah, Missouri, is identified as Mildred E. Nigh, wife of Harley E. Nigh of Parnell. She escaped State Hospital No. 2 on May 1 and was admitted July 1, 1937. Surviving are her husband, three children, and her mother. Coroner says death was suicide after the escape.

Willis C. Watson, 64, died Friday evening Sept 9 at his country home south of Sheridan after a stroke on Tuesday. He is survived by his wife, a son Orla Watson of St. Joseph and a daughter Mrs. Glee Barnum of Sheridan. A longtime member of the Sheridan Christian Church, his funeral was conducted by Rev. L B Day at the Christian Church. Burial followed in Sheridan Cemetery.
