Julie Marie O Conner of Metsburg Iowa and Thomas Edwin Whitehill of O Neill Nebraska were married August 28 at 11:00 a m at United Methodist Church College Springs Iowa with Rev Clarence Lands officiating. The ceremony featured Darla Burch as organist and a brown tuxedo reception followed at Branding Iron Clarinda. The couple will reside at R A 1 Murray Iowa as Julie plans ISU studies and Tom manages Koch Farm.

Mr and Mrs H K Russell invite Taylor County residents to the September TCARC gathering at their home. Tuesday at 1 p m Robert Smith will report on the Iowa ARC convention in Cedar Rapids. By laws will be reviewed and voted on. Ministers church leaders and officials are especially invited to learn how to help handicapped citizens.

What Cheer Old Time Day Set With Parade and Games
What Cheer hosts its second annual Old Time Day on Saturday with a museum opening at 9:00 a.m. Antique displays from the region and a Main Street parade at 11:00 a.m. led by Harry Kruse.
