SNAFU Delays BHS Report Cards
Manufacturers delay in filling an order caused BHS students to receive first six weeks report cards two weeks late. New forms ordered from a West Union Iowa firm over a month ago. Reports mailed to parents need not be returned to school officials. Six carbon copies are issued through Principal Kenneth Miller's office with the original filed.

Items include two bell point pens, metal brooches, a girl's dress belt, a ring, a bracelet, two comb and file sets, a meckisce, and a boy’s billfold.

New Maps Keep Students Posted On World Affairs
In study hall at BHS every student reads weekly Newsmaps titled World News of the Week. Each map shows 18 or 20 items with country pictures and is illustrated by photos graphs or cartoons. American history world history and world problems students review the maps weekly and Friday quizzes test comprehension. One hundred students participate.
