The Bedford Iowa City Council passes Ordinance No. 281 setting speed limits on Iowa State Highway 2 and 148 within city limits. Violations carry up to $100 fine or 30 days imprisonment. Effective after publication, dated November 1, 1971. Clifton Hanshaw mayor Wilma D Anderson city clerk attested.
