Bedford FFA Judges Angus Cattle At Osborn Farm
B H S freshmen and sophomores in the FFA, led by Norman Annan, toured E L Osborn farm near Bedford on November 1. They judged three Angus classes bull heifer and cows, then wrote oral and written reasons on quality condition and breeding ability. Lost items at Bedford schools include scarves watches pens and more kept in the lost and found. Supt Van Dyke urges descriptions to recover them.

New Speaker Stand Arrives at Bedford High
A metal and wood speaker’s stand donated by the Bedford High School senior class of 1955 is now in use in the auditorium. It features three concealed shelves and a removable reading lamp, with a three inch plaque reading Presented by Class of 1955. Two stage chairs will be purchased as a remainder of the gift from the seniors. the stand was bought from J L Latta & Sons of Cedar Falls Iowa.

Three BHS seniors had their individual graduation pictures re taken at the local high school on Wednesday November 3 by a representative of the Cochran Studios of Des Moines.
