Jane Ellen Stacy and William Richard Ferguson wed in Bedford United Methodist Church in an 11 a.m. ceremony on May 28. The couple, both Simpson College graduates, plan to reside in Glidden after a two week wedding trip. The Taylor County Historical Society met in Lenox on June 16 with many members present. Reports were given after visits to the Wayne County Historical Museum and talks with its president and curator. The building committee continues exploring sites and favors housing artifacts in a single building. Ivan Houchin and spouse offered a 100 year old log house on their farm for possible use. directors plan a site visit there soon.
