Old country schoolhouse moved to Bibbins Park in Bedford
Local plans in Bedford this week aim to relocate a former Taylor county schoolhouse to Bibbins Park for preservation as a historic site. A concrete foundation was poured and the Drum School moved to the park, with community interest in repairs and completing the project. The piece also recalls community notes on local bridges, river improvements, and quirky anecdotes from Sandvig Saga.
