Dale Beach Services Held for Army Air Force Leader

Funeral rites were conducted June 5 at United Presbyterian Church in Lenox for Dale Beach 44 chief master sergeant of the Army Air Force and former Lenox resident who died June 1 at an Albuquerque base hospital. Military honors followed, with interment in Lenox Cemetery. Survivors include widow Dorothy of Albuquerque and multiple siblings.

Mrs. Carrie W. Schuyler Dies in Colorado Springs

Mrs. Carrie W. Schuyler, 99, longtime Radford resident, died in Colorado Springs. Funeral services were held April 19 at Law Mortuary with Rev. Marie Caval Guentail officiating, followed by cremation. She died in Colorado Springs on July 28, 1871, according to local notices.

Final Rites Held Here For Mrs Ed Spencer

Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Spencer, longtime Taylor county resident, were held June 5 at Madison Street Shawmut Funeral Home. She died June 2 at Clarinda Municipal Hospital at 80 years, six months, and three days. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery. Belford Rebeccan Lou Wolverton, daughter of Andrew J and Mary Catherine Jacobs Wolverton, was born November 29 in Taylor County Iowa. She married A Edward Spencer February 14 and they had eight children: Ernest Marie Galen Glen Albert Julia Edouard Jr and David Wade. The family farmed in Ross Township before moving to Bedford in 640 and later resided there. She joined the Berea Church early in life and remained active in faith. She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 1947 and sons David Wade Ernest. Surviving are two daughters Marie and Julia Bedell, four sons Galen Glen Albert Edward Jr. and Adbert with wives, plus Elaine Spencer Movzier of Maryville. A granddaughter lived with her grandmother, and 17 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was loved as wife mother friend and neighbor and will be greatly missed.

She died May 26 1965 in Boulder Colorado. Anna Guthrie daughter of Barney and Tracy Riling born May 8 1874 in Redding Iowa married to Thomas W Guthrie in 1908. Waterman died at Pearle Terrace Manor in Bedford June 4 with services at Wadisan Street Shum-Nevinger Funeral Home officiated by Milton Kinney. Nelson died June 3 in Des Moines with burial at Badiview Cemetery Portford after attending Iowa State Teachers College and Northwestern University. Surviving relatives include Waterman’s children Bery B Gunson and Muriell Gunson plus grandchildren and relatives. Nelson’s sisters and brother and several nieces and nephews noted.
