Rural Young People meet for firelight dance at Lake of Three Fires
About 45 members of the Rural Young People gathered June 1 at Lake of Three Fires for a Weber roast, singing and square dancing by lantern light due to no electricity. Entertainment was led by Dean Hensley and Gretchen Timberlake. A July 6 dance with an orchestra at 7:30 p.m. is planned inviting all seniors and older youths.

At the Gay Guls Gurls 4-H Club meeting on May 23 at Betsy Johnson’s home Ardyce Clement was selected to attend the State Convention in Ames.
