Helpers assist Willard Lewis with corn crop at home

Neighbors and friends gathered at the Lewis residence to help with planting. Mrs Lewis and baby had just returned from the hospital. Miss Marion Carson of Hollywood California arrived Friday for a weekend visit at the home of her mother and husband Mr and Mrs Dale Jackson. Mr and Mrs Jack Pullan and children of Glenwood with other Pullan families and Duane Andersons were dinner guests Sunday at Mr and Mrs Ben Pullan Sr home. Jack Pullan departs this week for Alaska to work on bridge construction for the new international highway. Miss Maxine Blakeslee and the Lucases hosted a miscellaneous shower for Miss Dana Foster Wednesday at the Blakeslee home.
