Blockton Sells Poppies and Observes Memorial Day
The Blockton Legion Auxiliary sold poppies in Bedford on Saturday and thanks Bedford residents for support. Memorial Day events at the Liberty Memorial building drew large crowds with Rev. L. B. Day delivering The Price of Liberty. Members aided services at Rose Hill cemetery and nearby towns.

Norman won high score, Holland second, Harris traveling prize. Refreshments served. Several Sheridan women remain in Missouri Methodist Hospital St Joseph after operations, Hibbs last and seriously ill.
