Bedford School News Highlights Song Poll and Soup Project
Bedford High students launch an annual six week pop song poll starting the week of January 26 inviting votes for favorite male and female singers and songs. Ten top selections will appear in Spanish. Bedford third graders, guided by Mrs. Waite Shields, prepared a vegetable soup project and personal placemats, viewing films on foods and presenting oral reports on wheat processing.

Driver Training Students Drive To Shenandoah

Forage Crops Studied By BHS Vog Ag II Class
BHS sophomore vocational agriculture students begin January 5 reports on crops suited to Taylor county soil and climate. Each student covers history origin planting care and harvesting in a three to four page report. The unit lists alfalfa clover lespedeza timothy fescue and other local forage crops. An 85 question test follows after all reports.
