Lodge elects officers for coming year
At the recent Masonic Lodge meeting, officers were elected for the coming year including Worshipful Master Robert Steel and senior warden Henning Hansen. Installation of new officers of the O E S chapter and lodge will be held Tuesday evening Jan 12. Mr and Mrs E J Davis and family plan to move to Cantril Iowa later this week. Davis has been station agent here and will take a similar post there.

Funeral Service Held for Mahlon M. O'Dell at Methodist Church
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church for Mahlon M. O'Dell born 1868 in Crawford County Ohio who died December 26 1936 at his New Market home. Burial followed at Memory cemetery. He lived in Taylor county since childhood and was married twice first to Alice Dugan in 1889 producing eight children, then to Rhoda Cooper with two more. Survived by widow Rhoda, ten children, two stepchildren, siblings and sixteen grandchildren.
