The February 3 meeting at Eunice Penton's home featured Norma Park presenting Food for Good Health. Eunice Penton reported on the Atlantic 4-H meeting. Proceeds from the January 29 box supper totaled 62.08. Next gathering set for March 3 at Beverly Goudie's home.
The Ross Rocket 45H club met February 11 with six members present at Dee Lee Davison's home. G S Johnson led the meeting to elect officers for the club with Wendell Davidson as Leader and Dee Lee Davidson as President. refreshments were served and plans for the March meeting and entertainment were discussed.
President Roy Newkirk leads Taylor County Farm Supply in distributing seed corn to Bureau members. The cooperative sells seed at cost, offering shares that include 1 percent of total bushels with flat and round corn portions. Over 850 shares sold. a few remain. Germination 97 percent. seed treated.
February and March meetings at the Dallas 4-H club hall with Merlyn Harland in charge. New members Carol and Thine Cabbage joined, 16 present, box supper planned for March 7, and notices about cattle prices and Dannen Dealer talks. Also reports 700 paid members in 1947 with 75 still due, Poultry Disease Clinic March 7 at Cudahy Hatchery, and Strawberry outlook for 1947 with Rural Women’s Day March 20 guests and new books arriving in office.

The Bedford High School news covers 4 H club contributions, a home economics dinner for district educators, pep meeting activities, yearbook planning, X ray screening program details, and a sophomore play in Bedford.
The Bedford High School program expands with Y-Teen sponsored by Miss Cecile F Long and Hi-Y led by W S Cole. Hi-Y and Junior High teams posted wins over Corning 30-19 and 30-14 respectively. February 5 game summaries note Bryan Cross’s 13 points and listed starting lineups. January 15 saw a 25-24 Bedford loss at Corning.

Friday service at the Methodist Church marked the World Day of Prayer sponsored by women from two churches. A Youth Zone gathering followed Sunday afternoon at the Christian Church in St Ayr with district youth leading the devotional portion.
At their meeting last week the Christian Ladies A ct organized an afternoon program to entertain Liberty Club members at the church on Wednesday February 26. All women of both groups were invited. Mrs L H Schoenmann hosted the Klatter Club Thursday afternoon.
Kansas City families hosted a week end gathering at Warrior's home with Mrs 1 F Wal drip and other relatives. In Grant City William Cloos house hosted a Monday visit by Mr and Mrs Earl Henson and Mrs Ebert Drake. Earl Ogle, wintering in California with sister Mae Drake, toured Los Angeles Broad Casting Stations and movie lots with friends after visiting Fullerton. The Hensons planned a trip to Iowa picnic and San Francisco stop before returning. Other Fullerton guests included Mrs Walter Freeman of Jockton.
