A basket dinner at the Sharpsburg Presbyterian church is set for Tuesday evening March 1 to conduct the every member canvas led by Rev. O W Harless executive secretary of Presbyterian churches of Town. Nine ladies attended the fourth project lesson by Miss Pfiel of Ames at Mrs Olive Blood s Thursday. The follow up lesson will be Thursday afternoon at Mrs Ralph Rutledge s home. Sharpsburg Movers include the Miller family moving to a farm northwest of town and the Wilky family moving to near Diagonal. Wayne Hamblin and family received a surprise farewell party February 18 at their home with guests from Bedford and nearby towns.
