Morning Worship and Community Events at Sharpsburg
Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church holds 9:45 a.m. morning worship with Sunday School to follow and Rev. Gordon F. MacLean from Bedford to deliver the sermon. A community pot-luck dinner is planned for Friday evening February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sharpsburg School Gymnasium with a program after dining. attendees should bring table service. Coffee will be served by the committee.

Social Hour Club Hosts Olive Nicholls and Guests
Friday the Social Hour Club met with Mrs. Olive Nicholls. Mr and Mrs Ralph Smalley and their daughter depart Tuesday for a month long trip visiting Stuttgart Arkansas and Los Angeles California. Mr and Mrs George Depew of Central City Nebraska arrive Saturday to care for the Smalley children. Depew returns Sunday. Mrs Nelle Walker and her daughter Mrs Jesse Johnson of Clarinda leave Sunday for Washington DC to visit their daughter and sister Mrs Rovert Beck.
