Local clubs and groups report meetings and guest speakers. Justene Martin, cosmetology graduate, spoke to Bedford Junior High students on hair care and manicuring. United Methodist Women held a mini workshop with officers from several towns. Rebekah Lodge met February 4 with 26 members. An AFS student from Oslo lectured seventh and eighth graders. Shanks honored at 25th wedding anniversary open house. Annete Lundgaard featured as Norway guest at Gravity events. Engaged couple Pamela Sue Phipps and Ray Miller announced for March 28 wedding. Northwest Bearkittens defeat Tarkio 77-44 in women’s basketball.
