The Siam Boy Scouts led by Floyd Farlow and assistant leader Cleyton hosted a service at Mesh distributor church with Rev. Chase Arnold delivering the commemorative address for the 27th Scouting anniversary. The tenderfoot investiture saw three scouts at the Masonic hall.

Grandma Pullen Dies at 74 Near Siam
Mrs. Minerva Pullen known as Grandma Pullen dies at home near Siam at age 74 years 11 months and 23 days. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Shearer church with Mrs. Lulu Overholt in charge. Widow of Joy Pullen she would have been 75 soon. She leaves five sons Oscar Lon Ed Roy and Raymond and two daughters Alice Parker and Lizzie Webb.
